The Longleat Food & Drink Festival is back – and it’s going to be bigger, better and tastier than ever before.
The Estate will once again be filled with irresistible aromas, and tempting treats, over the weekend of June 23/24 as the Festival showcases the best local produce and an assortment of delicious cuisines.
All hand-picked by Longleat in order to tantalise the taste buds of the army of hungry visitors, local producers will also be joined at the Festival by top chefs James Martin and The Hairy Bikers who will staging a series of live demonstrations to show everyone how easy it is to cook like pros.
Best of all, entry to The Longleat Food Festival is included in the cost of a Longleat Day Ticket.
As well as the cookery masterclasses, the two-day celebration of British summertime will also feature Market Street which plays host to 30 open-air food and drinks stalls, as well as live music, classic cars and vintage fairground rides.
Visitors will be able to enjoy music from a selection of talented local bands; including West Country favourites – The Wurzels – who will be performing on Sunday.
Thecelebrity chefs will be cooking-up a storm in a purpose-built Demonstration Marquee throughout the weekend,and there will be giant television screens relaying the demonstrations live.
Viscountess Weymouth will also be proving she’s right at home in the kitchen, and showcasing her culinary prowess, as she joins the 13.00 demonstrations each day.
